About me and my practice

I offer you a space and time to talk about yourself without judgements, It is a space where you can learn about yourself and change if you want to.
In counselling we can find and identify your limiting self beliefs and how they affect your behaviour and the things you do or not do : For example if we think that we are not good enough we might not look for another job that we might enjoy more, or we might not go for a promotion or we stay in relationships that are not serving us.
Together we can work on transforming those negative beliefs into more positive ones so you can enjoy your life to the fullest. As well in therapy we can uncover other side in you that you were not aware about.

Experience

I have been doing private therapy through Betterhelp. I has given me the opportunity to see clients all over the world. The common human experience of pain after a relationship rupture makes me feel humble in acknowledging how we all go through similar events in life.
I have experience volunteering with charity organisations working with people who had endured trauma in childhood and dysfunctional family dynamics.
Retrospective domestic violence and bereavement.
Other issues I have experience with are work stress, cultural displacement, life events like divorce or empty nest, retirement....
Most people start to feel better after a few sessions.
I have worked as well in the NHS using cognitive Therapy but I realised I do not like to use same method with everyone as people are different and can benefit from different approaches.
